Landscape Design Services, LLC is a landscape design company based in Cedar City, Utah, serving homeowners, DIYers, landscape contractors, and design-build companies locally and nationwide. We specialize in custom 2D landscape plans, 3D landscape designs, landscape concept sketches, and remote landscape design services that give clients a clear visual and practical plan for their outdoor space.
Our job is to take an idea, a blank yard, an unfinished new home, or an existing landscape that needs improvement and turn it into a detailed design that can be understood before construction begins. We study the property, discuss how you want to use the space, work around existing site conditions, and develop the layout around your priorities rather than forcing your property into a generic landscape template.
Every project is approached as an individual design. We consider the shape and dimensions of the property, the location of the home and existing features, outdoor living needs, desired planting areas, hardscape features, materials, views, privacy, circulation, and the overall look you want to achieve. The result is a landscape plan that gives you a clear direction instead of leaving you to figure out the layout after the contractor arrives.

Landscape design involves organizing spaces, analyzing the site, selecting appropriate plant material, planning hardscape areas, establishing dimensions, and bringing those elements together into one coordinated design.
Landscape Design Services, LLC approaches design from both the creative and practical side of the landscape industry. Greg Berg has worked in landscape design, consulting, and sales support since the 1990s and has worked with more than 15 landscape companies while helping hundreds of homeowners develop their outdoor spaces. That long-term experience provides an understanding of how a design needs to function not only on paper, but also when a landscape contractor begins estimating materials and installing the project.
Our plans are generally created at a scaled drawing format, often using a 1/8 inch scale, so the relationship between structures, planting areas, patios, walkways, landscape features, and other components can be understood more accurately. Plans are intended to provide contractors with the information needed to estimate and build from the design, while real-world field measurements should still be confirmed before final estimating or material ordering.
